The Society's PrayerO Mother of Good Counsel, intercede for us that the members of our Society might courageously and publicly live the Catholic faith ever more fully as we pursue justice, with charity, for those whom your Son has entrusted to us. Call upon the holy angels to shield us from the temptations and sins common to our profession. And ask your Son to bless our work, so that we may remain good and faithful servants of the law, but always servants of God first. AMEN.

Defending Our FreedomsIn 2025, the Catholic Lawyers Society of Metropolitan Detroit successfully opposed proposed ethics rules that would have imposed a sweeping speech code on judges and lawyers alike, with the threat of professional sanctions for non-compliance. Read more here.
